Montblanc International Art Sponsorship Awards Ceremony

Montblanc has held the Montblanc Art Patron Award Ceremony every year since 1992. A jury of internationally renowned artists selected 12 winners from a 36-person shortlist (3 candidates from each country). Winners from each country will receive Montblanc limited edition art patron series ink pens and 15,000 euros for their own donation to their chosen art project.

    Montblanc International Art Sponsorship Award 2011 Hong Kong winner Dr. Zhong Jinghui selected the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts as the beneficiary art institution. As 2011 is exactly the 20th anniversary of this unique award, Montblanc has just held an award ceremony at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts on June 29, 2011 (Wednesday) to pay tribute to this year’s winner, Dr. Zhong Jinghui. The reception started at 7 pm, and the award ceremony and dinner were held at 7.30 pm at the Amphitheatre of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

    A group of students and friends of Dr. Zhong Jinghui also congratulated on the evening, including Ms. Wang Renman, Mr. Huang Qiusheng, Mr. Du Qifeng, Ms. Luo Guanlan, Mr. Zhang Jicong, Mr. Ou Jintang, Mr. Yang Yingwei, Mr. Weilong He, Mr. Tan Weiquan, and Mr. Liu Zhaoming. Mr. Zhang Jicong also performed a wonderful song and dance performance with many graduates of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, in recognition of Dr. Zhong Jinghui’s contribution to the stage art. The award ceremony was successfully concluded with applause.
