In 2011, Lange launched the Saxonia Thin watch, further enriching the Saxonia series. Continuing the traditional features of slimness, simplicity and sophistication, this watch is the thinnest work of Saxony’s precision watch brand Lange to date.
Five years after its first appearance, the dial of this simple and elegant two-hand watch has been adjusted in detail to fully reflect the style of Saxonia today. Compared with the previous model, the solid 18K gold bar-shaped hour scale of this watch has slightly increased and is closer to the bezel. The refurbished silver-white dial is cast in solid silver for a harmonious layout and balance.
At the Geneva International Haute Horlogerie in January 2016, Lange presents the new Saxonia Thin watch. Available in 18K rose and white 18K gold, this watch is available in 37mm or 40mm diameter.
Both models are equipped with the L093.1 manual-winding movement, which is only 2.9 mm thick, but fully demonstrates Lange’s high-level parts decoration. The classic design elements of each Lange watch, such as the untreated German silver 3/4 splint and the hand-carved balance splint, have been finely polished and decorated, demonstrating Lange’s spirit of perfection.
