Richard Mille Announces Opening Of Proart Factory In Les Breuleux, Jura, Switzerland

The Proart factory is located in Les Breuleux, a top watchmaking industrial town in the Jura Mountains, Switzerland, with a construction area of 3000 square meters. It is designed by Chavanne Architects and presents an unparalleled contemporary style. As the new watchmaking factory of Richard Mille, Proart has become the target of top watch connoisseurs and watch fans. At the same time, it is a new benchmark for brand development, because only in extraordinary watchmaking factories can the top watchmaking technology be achieved. . In the future, the watch case, main board and bridge parts of some RM watches will also be manufactured here.
The Proart factory is an important strategic tool for Richard Mille, closely aligned with the brand’s development layout, allowing the brand to be closer to the needs of its target market in terms of manpower or logistics. Richard Mille’s smaller number of watches have witnessed technological advances in the past few years, such as the RM 039 flyback chronograph E6-B flight calculator watch. The technology is extremely complex and the performance is extremely excellent. It is limited to 30 pieces.
Only within the watch factory can we develop such a limited number of watch products with technical requirements so strict. The new plant was built using the latest environmentally friendly materials, and it took two years to complete, especially in terms of building materials, which use superior materials like soil.
Although some planning and renovation projects are still in progress, the internal machines have already begun to run, and nearly 30 CNC machine tool personnel, inspection personnel and polishing workers have each taken their place. Under the management of Alain Varrin, the new site will officially begin operations in April.
